So… you want to date Steve?
Welcome to the most selective (and least organized) recruitment department in North Carolina.
Applications are screened by a highly unqualified committee of dogs. Management has been advised not to interfere.
Minimum qualifications
- Must genuinely like dogs. They were here first and they know it.
- Must tolerate enthusiastic discussions of Interstate numbering. There may be quizzes.
- Must appreciate a good hotel suite, a comfortable first-class seat, and a detour for something interesting.
- Must understand that LEGO is not just for children.
- No expectation that Steve will ever endorse Interstate 99.
Application received! (Not really.)
Ike, Director Emeritus of Human Resources, would have insisted on a thorough review.
Wilson is conducting the background check, while Pooh Bear has apparently eaten the paperwork.
Tucker, the elder statesman, holds the final authority. All applicants must pass his personal assessment of character and worthiness. His judgment is final, binding, and not subject to appeal.
The committee has reached no decision. It has, however, requested treats.
Moira Rose's assessment: “Darling, the competition for this position is simply exhausting. The dogs, however, are magnificent.”
Just a joke and a website Easter egg. No personal information is collected or submitted. 💜💛
